Morang, Dec 13: A person has died in Sundarharaicha, Morang, after being attacked by an elephant. Police reported that 60-year-old Bhawkrishna Ghimire of Sundarharaicha Municipality–12, Biratchok, died at the scene.
According to Chief Inspector Rajiv Giri of the Belbari Police Office, Ghimire was attacked by a wild elephant while on his way to a local dairy to sell milk.
The attack occurred around 6:30 a.m. today in the middle of the Biratchok settlement.
