KATHMANDU, Dec 13: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba will not attend the opening ceremony of the CPN-UML’s 11th National Convention.

Although leaders from various political parties were invited to the event, President Deuba will be represented by Acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka, according to NC Publicity Department Chief Min Bishwakarma.
The convention opened today at Sallahghari ground in Bhaktapur, with UML Chair KP Sharma Oli formally inaugurating the event.
