KATHMANDU, Dec 13: Kathmandu Metropolitan City has provided 42 computer sets to two community schools in the capital, aiming to enhance the quality of education.
Shanti Bidhya Griha School in Lainchaur received 32 computers, while Lokhit Basic School in Thamel was provided with 10, during a programme.

Speaking at the event, Ward Chair of Kathmandu–26, Khyam Raj Tiwari, expressed hope that the schools would make full use of the computers to improve educational standards.
Barsharam Bhandari, Chair of Shanti Bidhya Griha School Management Committee, thanked the local government for the support. Similarly, Head Teacher Bishnu Prasad Dhakal pledged to utilise the new computers effectively to enhance students’ academic performance.
Founded in 2004 BS, Shanti Bidhya Griha School currently educates over 1,200 students, while Lokhit Basic School has 106 students.
